I hope ya'll saved your ski masks from the first IYCM music review in November '19, because you'll need them again as 3K came in, strapped and ready to slaughter with their track 'POINT N' SHOOT' featuring Agung Mango.
Coming from different areas across Burn City, 3K is the perfect example of the melting pot of Melbourne's raw sound, which is presented in their contrasting verses delivered in 'POINT N' SHOOT'.
"We are all from different parts of Melbourne. So all our experiences come together and influence the music and content we create. It's four different perspectives in one body from all corners of the state. Voltron shit" - 3K
Produced on the spot by GAZS Beats and mixed and mastered by Ethedeliveryboy, POINT N' SHOOT' showcases a distinctively nostalgic sound that plummets straight into the shadows of thick bass and is further underlined in their aggressive flow and skilled lyricism.
Eissa, Beluga and Agung Mango wrote the hook together, and everything else fell into place. When following the journey of 3K and how the group initially came together, music and mutual friends were the answer.
"Music connected us, so naturally, it was the way to go. We met through mutual friends but eventually formed the group as it is now. The music allows us to express our thoughts with no filter, and it's therapeutic for us. Even the songs that make crowds fight each other have a rawness and vulnerability. We are inspired by a lot of artists both locally and internationally. There's always a new dope artist every day, so there's a lot to be inspired by at the moment if you want to look for it". - 3K
'POINT N' SHOOT' is a track that NEEDS to be on your rotation, so go ahead and stream it on the IN YOUR CITY PLAYLIST.
