Fungai - Back End (LXRDMC)

11/3/2021

IN YOUR CITY MUSIC

MELBOURNE

Walking straight in and taking a seat this week with his money take, Fungai is turning up the heat on his recent release Back End featuring LXRDMC, with production by Nasper.

Moving with confidence that is poppin' in his flow,
Fungai aims to set trends, not follow them and with the scene on lock, he's bussin em.

Fungai and LXRDMC deliver an addictive vibe on Back End and bring an influx of energy on this accidental track.

"I was at home, chilling, then I came up with the concept and I wrote my verses. I hit up producer Nasper for a beat and LXRDMC came up on my news feed, and I was like he'll be perfect for it. LXRDMC is the homie, so it wasn’t even a struggle to get him on. When we made it we just wanted to have as much fun as possible while showing versatility, flow, delivery and penmanship" - Fungai.

Fungai and LXRDMC are proving that they're putting on for Burn City and there are no signs of deceleration.
Back End is just the beginning.

"People need to see that local rappers are talented and we have an actual rapping ability" - LXRDMC.

Fungai and LXRDMC will be dropping more heat, in particular LXRDMC will be dropping a track featuring Fungai titled Tammy Abraham and Fungai has 'songs for days'.

Keep your eyes locked on Fungai and LXRDMC and keep Back End in your rotation.

Stay in the loop ya'll.
“Run up the back end,
see me in the stu I’m locked in,
Brodie come what’s happening,
Scene on lock we bussin,
Run up the back end,
Google my name I’m popping,
Run up the score I’m up 10,
Hopped out now I’m back in"

Y2 - The Most (Mkada)

5/3/2021

TEXAS X MELBOURNE

Picture
The chemistry between Y2 and Mkada is deeper than the Navy, and it ain't a surprise that they ride for each other permanently.

Submerging into a cage full of demons, this Azra (@arza.arzito) produced track plunges into the irony of being in the same boat with the same struggle and similar go-to vices on their
sonically high-induced track "The Most" by Y2, featuring Mkada.

Keeping their heads above water, Y2 and Mkada invite listeners into their past struggles.

"It's about the detox from drugs, how it can ruin a relationship, and the beginning of the healing process once you're open about your past addictions. So doing 'The Most' was what the song was about" - Y2.

When it comes to these two, one can't exist without the other.
Y2's flow switches project attentive perfection, and Mkada's raspiness amplifies vocal depth, balancing out the vibe on The Most.

It's an intense echo of transparency, virtue, dedication and victory.

"The message is that it’s ok to admit your addictions and voice them to begin the healing and recovery process. It’s a song about two true stories that came clean via song and in real life" - Y2.

IYCM can sense abundant musical success with this team, especially considering their work ethic is on lock with constant quality releases from both artists.
A power couple is in the making from Texas to Burn City (Melbourne).

Follow Y2 (@y2heru) and Mkada (@realmkada) on Instagram and keep "The Most" on rotation via the In Your City Music's playlist.

Stay in the loop ya'll.
