Eleftherios - Overdue (Eissa, Rastafari)

1/12/2019

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

We're trying to figure out who gave producer Eleftherios the match-stick that lit Burn City up because his newly released EP Radio Tower '19 is straight FIRE, with an extra amount of gasoline.

Cooking up a storm with his track Overdue, Rastafari completes the beat with his smoother-than-smooth vocals accompanied by Eissa's raw, melodic lay down of verses.

You wouldn't think this song was focusing on the outlets used to escape life's constant growing pains with how placid and chill-like each verse is, although the chorus does appear to hold a sweetly subtle hopelessness.

Teamwork definitely makes the dream work and Eleftherios has demonstrated that with his production on Overdue, and with the vision he had for Radio Tower '19.

Eleftherios contributes to the ever-growing range and sound that Melbourne has to offer, making the city proud AF as they have yet another quality producer pushing for this city's spot on the map.
Pay attention ya'll, cause you're witnessing Eleftherios successfully heating up the Burn City melting pot with his contribution to the music scene!

Stream Overdue on Spotify and make sure you run through Radio Tower '19, as Eleftherios has given us a track for every mood.

Turn up with the track "Who Is" and enjoy the production of "Protocol".

Hello My Name Is Lana - Rub Up On Me

24/11/2019

EAST SAINT LOUIS, ILLNOIS

IYCM has a bop for ya'll this week!
Representing her hometown East Saint Louis, Illinois, Hello My Name Is Lana has been working hard at her craft over the past few years, and it shows with her flirtatious summer-ready track Rub Up On Me featuring Korra Obidi.

Currently residing in L.A, Hello My Name Is Lana proves to have "the moves" every time she performs this number on the Santa Monica pier. The energy from Rub Up On Me rubs off on the audience every single time as she delivers a dance routine to go along with the beat.

However, don't let this playful track fool you, Hello My Name Is Lana has some STRONG, beautiful pipes on her that from time to time, give off Whitney Houston’s essence with her powerful vocal range, making her a versatile artist.

LADIES!
Let the rhythm of this song loosen you up, so you can get down like no one is watching and live your best damn life while you get that twerk in. Summer is about to drop in the south part of the world in less than a week, so we recommend you ensure your speakers are charged up before you head down to the beach and bump Rub Up On Me.

As we speak, we hear she is working on a new project, so keep your eyes peeled for her upcoming music drops.

R.L. King - 11:11

17/11/2019

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

R.L. King switched up and slowed down the vibe this week with his passionate track 11:11 featuring Olivia Escuyos.

Nomad - Destined

10/11/2019

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

This track is why I had to quit my day job.
Not really, but damn it was close real fxcking close.

Nomad doesn't just rap; he stimulates, educates on his consciously aware track Destined.

Clever with his pen, Nomad highlights the ever-failing education system, the lack of growth in civilisation and the importance of communication.

He reminds us not to settle for an occupation, to work hard and not to get complacent.
Nomad has a message that he spits with clarity and is accompanied by a take ‘em-to-church type of vibe. It should also be no surprise that the beat was mightily blessed by none other than Iconic (@Iconicbeats).

Pleasing to the ears and a refresh from the current mainstream vibe, you won't want to sleep on Destined, and YOU CAN RUN AND TELL THAT!

His EP Intermission will be dropping shortly and when it does, let’s just say IYCM predicts he is about to have a great year.

As this was going to post, Nomad also released his track Chasin' Pesos which is available on Spotify along with Destined, link below.

Agung Mango - TOUGHSKIN

3/11/2019

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

Agung Mango has revamped Burn City's growing Hip-Hop scene with his rightfully aggressive track TOUGHSKIN.
Paired with a dark, gritty beat, this Caroline Springs native raps about life being tough 'cause even when the "cash flow is there, it's not enough, NEVER ENOUGH".

LET ME TELL YOU...
If the Westside of Melbourne had a soundtrack, TOUGHSKIN would be the theme song.
Ski masks sold separately.

It's obvious that the moment Agung Mango came into contact with the production (produced by Iconicbeats), a blaze broke the heck out within this firecracker of a track.

The best part? It will hype you up before and during your gym session, while reminding you the fact of the matter is "your failures in life become a TOUGHSKIN to protect the determination within you".- Agung Mango
You can definitely match the mental intensity to your physical intensity with the musically dangerous motivation.

If you still need convincing, take a listen for yourself and thank IYCM later when you add AGUNG MANGO to your yearly rotation!
