Taylor Parker - You

28/4/2021

IN YOUR CITY MUSIC

AUSTIN, TX

If you haven't caught the wave of Taylor Parker, then IYCM is here to catch you while you fall in love... particularly with his track You.

Taylor Parker's sweet vocals slowly vibrate into the Caleab David Contreas production. It's a Sonic build up of layers, claps and ad libs, which then transitions into a magnetic chorus.

"I tried to encapsulate the feeling of all out pursuit, single-mindedness, and dedication to some one you love. The joy and the overwhelming feeling of “I need more time” with this person was the motivator and inspiration for me behind You - Taylor Parker.

It's the melody of a chase, the push and pull between two individuals with Taylor hypnotically singing '"Take me, take me, I want you, want you, Take me, take me, I need you" on You.

His debut EP “..i dont think this is working out…” was released earlier this month, and features 9 tracks that 'encompass the journey and end of a relationship'. You can be assured that the lack of relatability is at a zero as Taylor alluringly captures the seasons within a relationship.

With a second project on the horizon and Taylor's EP “..i dont think this is working out…” ready for your ears, Taylor Parker has more in store for listeners this year, so get plugged in and keep You in your rotation.
Stay in the loop - IYCM.

I’m feeling you feel me,
We got our hearts racing,
We got our souls still down,
For each other,

Your love is artistry,
The way you move with me,
I’ve got my mind made up,
There is no other,

None but....
You, all I want is,
You, all I see is ,
You, take me please with
You"

Andre Jemal - Take No More

MELBOURNE

Fresh off the drop to the point that you can't touch it, cause it's hot, Andre Jemal has made his official debut with his lead single Take No More, from his new album "When It's Over".

Ya'll ever had a person who is always on your mind but you know you have to let them go? Andre Jemal has an antidote for that in the form of flow switch ups, a sweet melody, love for his city and a sample from the Queen of Soul - Aretha Franklin on Take No More.

It will have you all up in your feels for a minute as Andre Jemal sings "you're always on my mind'", only to put it in reverse as he continues with "but I just have to go" followed by his flow alternations and upbeat delivery about moving onto the unknown and leaving behind the heartbreak.

"I just put my thoughts to a beat, so I hope that it will resonant with everyone in their own way. Although we all lead different lives, our experiences can still be similar. I guess you could say that is my intention. To resonant with the listener" - Andre Jemal

The Jimmy Lee sample is the icing on top of the cake, giving this track just the right amount of Soul over the Bandit Luce produced beat.

With his strongest work of art to date, Andre Jemal is about to be real busy this season with his recent album release and future single drops, so to make sure you don't miss anything follow him on IG @andrejemal and keep Take No More in your rotation.

Stay in the loop ya'll

"Your always on my mind,
And I can take no more,
I don’t know what I’ll find,
But I just have to go,
I just have to go,
I just have to go.

BLEAUX -  Facelift (DTL)

13/4/2021

IN YOUR CITY MUSIC

NASHVILLE

Rowdy, Raging and Raw!
What more could you desire when it comes to Bleaux on his Punk-Hip Hop infused track, Facelift?

Featuring DTL, Facelift comes with next level shxt loaded with intentional shock value in the form of sound, lyrics and his
The Vision directed music video.

When it comes to the artistry behind the music, Bleaux mentions and we quote "I wrote it, produced it, mixed it, mastered it, cried over it, had a mental health crisis over it, put three years of mind crushing work into it, and had DTL kill his verse on it" - Bleaux.

It's one humorously HELL of a journey that birthed this high energy, dysfunctional bass track, accompanied by the main star of the show, his middle fingers.

Bleaux expels a type of fearlessness that is quite loveable, while DTL lays it down, maintaining the aggression within his verse.
It's the merging of two energies that catapult into explicit lawlessness.

"It was actually my intention to have cops fall in love with me and make them chase after me. This started as a love song about this lady cop that broke my heart and kept getting in my face with her problems. And the message? Amanda... I miss you baby please come back to me" -Bleaux.

Where ever you are Amanda, please call Bleaux back cause we don't want no smoke, but until then Bleaux has 5 Singles for April and an Album on the way in May! So without further ado,
stay in the loop with our Spotify Playlist and keep Facelift from his album AGGRO in your rotation.

I'ma stick to ya face,

You a fake punk,
I'ma leave ya ass erased,

Gut you with my knife,
Blood all over the place,

Virghost - Doug Funnie

IN YOUR CITY MUSIC

MEMPHIS

'Wall so tall that he can't see you, sun so bright that it blocked Virghost view', but that ain't stop him from kicking it all the way down, into the old school feel realm on his recently released EP, 'Searching for Shiloh' inspired by online sensation, Shiloh Dynasty.

This 4 track EP is buzzing with sentimental sounds, paying particular attention to his track Doug Funnie.

Playing on the 90's hit Nickelodeon series 'Doug', Virghost spits his take on the themes found in the series and combines it with his own message, a reminder that you are never alone,
because God has always got you.

"I just really wanted to show what it would feel like to have a deep need for God and/or the person you love but you feel like you don't have access to them. I wanted the message to be that even if you feel like you don't have anyone and you're all alone, God is still with you. The things I wrote were inspired by that show.
Doug's anxiety, depression and loneliness throughout the show" - Virghost.

When it comes to production, YZA and Sosa Yg hold it down effectively and effortlessly with their ability to zone into the feel of the Doug Funnie era, hitting it right with their Shiloh Dynasty sampled sound, all while Virghost reminds us that "It's ok to be vulnerable and say how you really feel. There's absolutely nothing wrong with feeling down. God is always there even when feel like you've been disconnected"- Virghost.

Stay connected with upcoming releases and events from Virghost by hitting that follow button on IG, and last but not least keep Doug Funnie on your rotation.

"I swear it ain't no heaven up above me,
At times I question God don't judge me,
Living in this world that's so ugly,
Too much hate exists for you to love me,
My computer and my cellphone drugged me,
I be flying higher than the doves be,
Dreaming in the days like Doug be,
Waiting for Patty to kiss and hug me"
