Tee - Free Mind

29/10/2020

Coming in this week to relieve your mind and soul with her simmering flow is Melbourne artist Tee, with her Ayten Ahmet produced track 'Free Mind'.

Free Mind has the same easing effect as laying down in a dark room, while observing the dancing lights that twinkle on the ceiling. It's a journey of pure futuristic euphoria, that you'll want to unwind with, vibe with AND reflect with.

Encouraging the releasing of unessential thoughts, Free Mind recognises the pointless messages that run through our minds unconsciously, and draws the importance back to refocusing and realigning with who we are, without all the noise.

"My intention for ‘Free Mind’ was exposing what happens behind closed doors to a happy person. A person who heavily involves themselves with situations/surroundings too much. The chains that are usually around you, chains that stop you, can easily be loosened by you or by listening to this song" - Tee.

Tee take's you to another dimension, a multi-universe with her calm inducing tones as she echo's "be free, show me who you wanna be, be free" over Ayten's modernistic production.

We know a wave when we see one, and Tee is riding individuality straight to the shore.

While IYC Music meditates to Free Mind, ya'll can expect more single releases and hopefully a few upcoming video releases from Tee before the end of 2020!

Stay in the loop and follow Tee on Instagram and check out her latest jazzy infused single 'Hyouka' on our Spotify playlist.

"It ain’t all about me,
But my mind be haunting me,
Feeding memories,
Screaming in and out of dreams,
Can’t seem to reason with with me,
Am I gonna make moves or meditate?
Am I gonna stay here or levitate?
I procrastinate,
Only the fearless can be great"

Ahki Sativa - Still Got You

19/10/2020

If the expression I got you was propelled into a chamber of sound, and the frequency created was amplified for 2 minutes and 44 seconds through speakers, Still Got You by Ahki Sativa would be the audible manifestation that you'd be hearing.

Ahki Sativa has this effortless ability to capture your attention through the devious depth of his tone and pen ink originality.

Produced by JabariOnTheBeat, prepare to zone into the frequency of mellow piano undertones that are found swaying along to
Ahki Sativa's suavely vicious flow as he expresses a genuine vibe between two dancing souls, proclaiming
"we still got it, I still got you".

"I try to live with balance and so my music tends to reflect that, this song runs the line between tongue-in-cheek witty arrogance and intimate vulnerability about love and how you express it.
The bottom line is to be free, be yourself and love freely without worrying about how others perceive your lifestyle"- Ahki Sativa.

Claiming it's rightful place on every Bonnie and Clyde - ride or die themed playlist, Still Got You flows true to a carefree, don't worry about a thing while we're here, earth experience.

"Enjoy the vibe, the humour & definitely remember to live your life without caring too much about what others think - all rules are made up, don’t let another person dictate every facet of your existence"- Ahki Sativa.

With his return to Sydney from New York still relatively fresh,
Ahki Sativa is channelling nothing but an abundance of energy for his future music plans. We can expect back to back single releases and hopefully a visual or two from this enlightened artist.

Keep your eyes open for a web series co-written and produced by Ahki Sativa, and catch IYC Music on Instagram to stay in the LOOP.

SYDNEY

"Still got you baby,
Don’t you worry bout it,
There’s only you in here,
Even when the room is crowded,
We dancing in the corner,
Ain’t nobody else’s business,
They wanna judge the way we living,
Cos they’re scared to live it,
I think that that’s a sickness,
So if you’re not genuine,
And only follow trends,
Then please keep your distance"....

Virghost - Better View

15/10/2020

We're just plotting and making moves with our connections while Better View by rapper - lyricist Virghost is on steady, but heavy IYC Music rotation.

It's a beautiful mix when Virghost and KLAE BEATS
link up and produce the type of frequency that will have you 'cleansing your circle of all impurities' and then some.

Virghost isn't playing with ya'll when it comes to his profession and it shows in his message.

"I wanted it to do exactly what the title says, which is encourage people to see a better view. When negative energy comes your way don't succumb to it, rise above it and stay on your path.
Know who are, stay true to who you are and most importantly, don't be manipulated out of your natural element.
These are the values I stay true to and I wanted it to be shown through this song" - Virghost.

Staying true to his written word, Virghost is holding it down with the crown in Tennessee. If you want music that elevates you to a state of authenticity, and ink that runs with intention, laced with vocal rawness, then this is the one ... and that's keeping it onehunnid.

"Confidence, authenticity, work, and results will always win over clout, insecurities, cowardice, and negativity" - Virghost.

Refocus on a better view, absorb the message and then repeat in case you missed it.

While Better View is on your rotation, stay in the loop with Virghost on Instagram with more releases to come by the end of this season, and join IYC Music as we watch Virghost perform live on YouTube (FROAT) at the end of every month for the remainder of 2020.

MEMPHIS

"I got a playlist of Virghost diss songs next to my R&B hit songs,
What a beautiful mix huh I'm logging in to see what I miss uh,
Another rapper done got pissed huh,
Just add to my collection plotting and making moves with my connections,
Y'all just do this as a hobby I see this as my profession,
Manifesting what I spoke in my old shit,
Counting my blessings I broke the mold"

TIA - Older

7/10/2020

Hold your fire as you enter into an explosion of powerful candor, draped in prowess that TIA oh sooo gracefully delivers on her track “Older” produced by Rob Amoruso.

Written by TIA, Rob Amoruso and Alice Blake, Older is the unmasking of some VERY real and relatable vulnerabilities.

Intensely annihilating every note that comes into contact with her, TIA orchestrates an emotional outpour of caution, uncertainty and surrender that is further amplified by a full bodied Amoruso production.

"I wanted the listener to feel that it is ok to not understand a situation they may be in or a situation that may surround them, but still feel empowered to want to try and make a change" - TIA.

TIA vocally reflects a sense of searching into the unknown of any conflicting situation as she sings “I don’t say too much in person because I don’t wanna give too much away”, leaving room for a mystery.

With a couple of projects under her belt, you can expect to hear a lot more from TIA in the coming months, but until then follow your way into staying in the loop with TIA on Instagram, and keep IYC Music on your station of rotation.

MELBOURNE

"Hold your fire,
Please excuse my ignorance but trust me sir I’m innocent,
Hold your fire,
Maybe I don’t understand but I just can’t make sense of it".
