Jaron Jay has lit a match and watched everything go up in flames while hitting high notes and holding the lows on his newly released single, Rolling On Fire. Jaron Jay doesn't bring the vibe; he IS the vibe in Rolling On Fire, unveiling an abundant audible package that isn't for the faint-hearted. He delivers brilliant storytelling, intensely bright vocals, and a whole freaking band production. Oh, and if you're wondering who produced it, Yep, the man himself: Jaron Jay. Rolling On Fire is a "kiss my ass, I'm celebrating, after this heartbreak" energy, but not before he mentions the demon children who led him to his demise. "Rolling On Fire’ was penned as an ode to a former partner who’d broken up with me via a long-distance phone call while I was away in Europe on tour (yeah, it’s a breakup song). I wrote it shortly after what was a catastrophic time, and it provided me with a little bit of catharsis. There actually wasn’t a whole load of thought put into it, and lyrically, it was a stream-of-consciousness type of writing situation, where the words fell out of my brain, and then the production followed. There’s nothing that I want anybody to take from it. I’m sure some people can identify with the lyrics, or maybe they can't—maybe they want to dance to it, or maybe they want to belt the chorus with me! It’s all good." - Jaron Jay. The track provides slightly zen hues after the upbeat tornado. It's a rare duality. Working alongside L.A.-based record label Antihero, Jaron Jay will be presenting his EP, potentially performing live (in L.A.), and creating more for his fans' eyes and ears in the coming months. So how will you know what comes next? Just follow Jaron Jay and Antihero records on the gram, and join us in keeping Rolling On Fire on rotation. NASHVILLE, USA
Bleaux has waved his wand and cast a spell on us in the name of music! His album Grasshopper delivers one helluva mean 'n' raw track that goes by the title of Magic Carpet. To put it simply, you're about to catch a vibe that's heavy on the sauce, light on the soul, and full of dopeness as Bleauxdrops bar after bar and makes it playful. Magic Carpet is that joint that you play til the sun rises while rapping every lyric with a mean mug. That's the energy. That's one of the many auras of Bleaux. "I was feeling really good after vacation last year and just wanted to talk about some fun things. It's a little of a growing-up thing for me where I'm just leaning into the more fun and selfish pursuits of women and money." - Bleaux Bleaux goes ahead and baptises listeners in a chopped 'n' screwed bath as he chants 'green bill, money roll, put that on hell'. Legend says when you blast this track in your whip, it'll turn into a Magic Carpet. Literally, we can confirm this. That's what Bleaux does, though! He has the power to mentally flip your reality; he takes you on a ride through his wicked ability to produce sonic art with no creative limitations. Bleaux isn't afraid to get his hands dirty; he isn't boxed in; he knows how to vibe, and the instrumental alone is cold hard proof of that. "The producer is a real f*cking weirdo. Getting him out of his shell to talk about beats is tough, but feel free to tag him." - Bleaux. It comes as no surprise that he is also the creator of the sound. He's a wizard, a magician with a rarity in relics, and you can only expect more magic to appear in the near future. Keep the spell going by adding Magic Carpet to your rotation, and stay on Bleaux's future moves by following him on the gram @_bleaux. |
