DENVER, COLORADO, USAWhen it comes to love, there’s two sides to the coin you can land on; you’re either flipped onto alignment or facing misalignment, and in this case, it’s the latter that KNDRX has captured! The essence of misaligned entanglements is delivered illustriously on his track Don’t Love Me, featuring TheyCallHimAP. KNDRX and TheyCallHimAP will have you deep in the feels; that’s the aural power of them. Don’t Love Me reflects on the type of relationship that’ll have you questioning if you’re on the same team—the type that’s full of chemistry but lacking all the fundamental things; it leaves a faded scar as a friendly reminder of the wisdom you gained from the experience. That’s what toxicity can do once you outgrow it; it teaches, contributes to the evolution of self, while simultaneously connecting humans through art inspired by the wound; it's a historical event, the emotion is generationally on repeat, and it's supposedly in the name of love, but truly in the name of breaking karmic cycles. KNDRX’s gravelly flow flicks off a millisecond of huskiness after each raw rhyme rolls off his tongue, the melancholic sample amplifies the sound of heartbreak, and TheyCallHimAP vulnerably pierces as he lays down an emotionally charged verse in complete alignment with KNDRX’s vision. You’ll sink deep within the beat, absorbing every chime and guitar strum, every drum pattern, and every resonating lyric. “I drew inspiration from a collection of my past relationships. I kept the story broad to avoid anyone from the past feeling attacked or targeted by my lyrics specifically. I typically must put myself in that headspace as I go into writing a song like this because I’m currently not dealing with any relationship’s issues in my personal life, but I do have a history of toxic relationships that makes recollecting and writing from that pain easier for me and more authentic and relatable for my listeners”. - KNDRX Don’t Love Me depicts the energy of someone who has come to terms with unreciprocated love. It’s a one-way street when the unconditional giver meets the taker, ridden with secrets. The pain is soaking in the instrumental, and disappointment rides through each verse as KNDRX and AP rap about betrayal and how certain gender roles prevent emotional regulation and proper healing. Heartbreak is forbidden in a man's world, and due to this, the ego breaks in acting as a barrier of protection as they refocus on getting 'more bread'. It’s an attempt at masking and adhering to unrealistic gender roles, but AP exposes the cracks in this behaviour by exposing an undertone of healthy anger through a gentle cuss. It comes as no surprise that KNDRX is a triple-talented threat, not only producing Don’t Love Me but also mixing and mastering this record and plenty more within his own catalogue. “When I was in the studio making the instrumental, I also produced 12 beats that same day. I was challenging myself to see what my production limits were. I explored how long I can work on creating beats in a day before my ears start playing tricks on me. As soon as I heard the vocal sample, I knew it was special! I built a vintage Boom Bap sound around the vocal sample and brought in some ambient soundscapes to fill in the rest, then added some rap-able drum breaks. My verse was recorded the next day after going through the 12 packs I had made. A couple months later, one of my managers suggested I put TheyCallHimAP on the second verse. I reached out, and he complimented the record perfectly! We got to work and shot the video with @Qntm.Tx a few weeks later”. - KNDRX The next chapter of KNDRX includes new merchandise drops, back-to-back music releases and visuals, a tour set to be rescheduled with Conway The Machine of Griselda Records, and a very hopeful future visit to Australia, where KNDRX will be interacting with his fans. Stay on top of announcements from KNDRX on Instagram and add Don’t Love Me to your playlist!

NASHVILLE, USAComing in hot from the 615 with a sauce load of Southern Swagger, Quez Cantrell pays respect to the ebbs and flows of the hustle while moving mountains and talking all about it on his latest release Talkin My S#!T featuring TheyNeedWeez. The intro starts off by transporting listeners into a time capsule back to the mid-2000's–10's era of music when Jim Jones, Rick Ross, August Alsina, T.I, and Drake were taking over on radio play, and the music industry was flooded with variety. Talkin My S#!T radiates the aural aesthetic of this era from the vocal sample, minimalistic drumbeat, and summer vibe synths. Quez Cantrell releases a gritty, clean, cut, southern flow full of clarity over the nostalgic beat as he speaks on sacrifice, knowing his vision, staying focused, and letting his accomplishments silence all the haters all while talking his sh*t. TheyNeedWeez adds a celebratory feel with his smooth, R&B-rich tones that are slightly reminiscent of August Alsina. “Talkin My S#!T was inspired by going through a phase of self-discovery. In that phase, I had to learn how to value myself and see myself in the best light. To affirm myself unapologetically and not shrink myself due to imposter syndrome. Rap and Hip-Hop are braggadocios and bravado-driven genres. I feel like this song is a song to talk sh*t for the good guys who don’t lean on their possessions but instead value their standards and morals as men."- Quez Cantrell The beat jumps as Quez Cantrell delivers accentuations with a deep tone. Producer Big Boy Traks had his fingers in his bag on this track! Talkin My S#!T is a statement, a triumphant, a return to the time when Hip-Hop hit a third wave on the scene and evolved into a fusionism twist. Artists continuously demonstrate that Hip-Hop isn’t dead; if anything, it endures a rest period due to the cyclical nature of music, and like every cycle, it’ll come right back for a fourth wave with another evolutionary twist. "My influence is heavily inspired by Nipsey Hussle, Big K.R.I.T., and Starlito, to name a few. The production just sounded upbeat and felt like it required an honest perspective. The timing of where I was in life and what I felt the beat was saying to me ultimately inspired the outcome." - Quez With another single on the way as we speak, listeners can also expect an album drop from Quez Cantrell before the final curtain call of the year! Until then, the curtain is still up, and the music is still blasting. Spin Talkin My S#!T with us (link below). MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIAJourney into a mesmerising musical experience that floats within the realms of hip-hop, electronic, and alternative fusion from astounding artist mumph on his mixtape TRAINING DAYS. Prepare to be blown away with a sensational 24 minutes and 2 seconds of deep heavy bass, slapping synths, and Hip-Hop samples from the likes of Uh, Uh, Shawn Carter, aka Jay-Z, and plenty more. You can expect the works: distortions, fade ins and outs, and the addition of audible elements from our everyday environment. Tracks 1 and 2 include all the above and then some; that some includes ducks, crickets, wind and motorcycle engines. You’ll be playing guess the sample by the end of it! Fast forward to HOTPOT, and it's subtly steaming with a snippet of sensuality. Those moans are... moaning. On that note, IYCM does not take responsibility for any arousal created by mumph. We’ve found your morning money manifestation frequency where Biggie makes an appearance on $$$. The use of lush synthesisers and a steady, head-nodding beat creates a sense of anticipation, drawing the listener into the world of the TRAINING DAY. The name speaks for itself: mumph has invested his heart in art and created a sonically intricate masterpiece. CEREAL experiments with flutes, video game prompts, and overall unorthodox sounds that create a sense of welcomed wackiness; the vocal repetition of "I’m tryna catch the beat" echoes out, only to speed up, chipmunk style, and transition into SUSPEK. This track paints a visual of urban life through its dynamic rhythms and elaborate soundscapes, combined with a pulsating bassline that evokes the chaotic energy of an inner cityscape at night. It's a track that can easily transport you to the heart of Melbourne’s metropolis. "I mainly drew inspiration from wanting to get out a bunch of ideas I had locked away in the vault. I took my favourite few and elaborated on them further. Honestly speaking, I did it to really put a hatch on it, get it out there, and to refocus on creating something new—the evolved version of oneself. The name TRAINING DAYS is drawn from the process of being in a non-linear timeline for my first 18 months of producing music, as well as a direct reference to Aesop Rock's Labor Days, which I’m a huge fan of. It took a month to translate ideas into fully fledged tracks before being released independently." - Mumph Tracks like GUTTR and TORN explore mumph’s powerful production prowess on TRAINING DAY. These tracks seamlessly meld hip-hop beats with futuristic electronic textures, creating a sonic landscape that feels both cutting-edge and timeless. The interplay between the various electronic elements and the infectious layers is nothing short of hypnotic! "I listened to a lot of Clams Casino, Burial, Flying Lotus, Madlib, and The Neptunes over the course of forming the vision for TRAINING DAYS, that’s pretty much what I had in my record collection. I’d say the final released version of TRAINING DAYS is an amalgamation of these five producers and artists." - Mumph Each track transitions into an effortless swirl, continuing into the next; there’s no beginning or end. Each intro gradually builds like a sturdy fortress; new sonic elements are found every second, all exhibiting pure precision, keeping the listener engaged and intrigued throughout its duration. The bells, beeps, and bumps on Ten act as a natural serotonin and dopamine hit. The blending of the outro from this last track into the intro of the first is a loop appreciator dream. If you’re ever feeling low, depleted, or lost, TRAINING DAYS is the go-to cure! mumph has transcended, transmuted, and transformed his mental vault into a Milky Way of magic through compelling musicality that utters ZERO words. Talk about talent! TRAINING DAYS is a testament to authenticity and sound stimulation throughout space and time; it’s just a matter of time until mumph is recognised by the majority. mumph has a select amount of uniquely tagged TRANING DAYS gloss prints (courtesy of @crashcab) currently made to order at the www.mphrec.com store! Melbourne, AustraliaHe's the Don, the admitted avoidant (IYKYK), the emotionally charged songbird, and the high-vibrational eagle. He's Mr. Ruckman, and boy oh boy is he a true writer who has delivered a cyclone of intellectual and emotional depth on his album Congruence! Nothing is untouched in this beautifully mixed and superbly transitioned body of work. Got a manipulative ex who plays the victim? Depression and anxiety? Addictions? Attachment styles? Alter ego? Stripping the ego? Childhood wounds? Unshakeable determination? Introspection and shadow work? Calling out the shady industry? Love and loss? You're bound to find a track that pierces through your soul and makes you feel understood, and it's all done to the tempo of good ol' hip-hop and an immaculate, throaty flow. Mr. Ruckman allows his heart to bleed on the album, which acts as a catalyst for healing; it’s therapeutic. He's unapologetic about sharing his personal life experiences and reoccurring thoughts, some completely unfiltered yet completely necessary. Congruence oozes duality, intensity, veracity, and transparency, and Mr. Ruckman delivers all the above through his aural heartbeat with a deep resonance. "Congruence is the follow-up from my previous album, Cognitive Dissonance; it borrows from the idea that there are two sides to me. There's a significant split: one is the don, and the other is Ruckman; one is filled with dark humour and psychotic lyricism, and the other is full of deep emotional vulnerability. There is a gap in the contrast, and Congruence focuses on delivering the harmony of it all". - Mr. Ruckman His flow is distinctive, staying true to his roots and environment. Heavy imitation isn’t present in his tone, and this alone is what makes him a strong contender to respectfully bust down the doors internationally. He starts off with a straight shot of rawness, plummeting into childhood wounds amongst a playfully youthful soundscape on track 2, Congruence. The upbeat keys blend in with Mr. Ruckman's storytelling, allowing listeners a look into his upbringing as Ikey majestically harmonises over each verse. He then emerges as a Phoenix of lyricism and resilience against the industry's resistance alongside the brilliant Shynin Armour and beautiful Tanya George on track 3, Kill Em With Success. This trio sets their musicality ablaze when they connect and collaborate. You don't need to make the trip to church; they'll bring it to you with their convictions, faith in succeeding, and flows that meet in harmony. Mr. Ruckman goes on to flex his sonically seasoned artistry and variety on tracks 4 'I've Made It' (featuring Ikey) and 5 'Indebted'. Sinking listeners into his alignment, you're immersed in hip-hop as Ruckman encourages gratitude with every breath taken. The seasoning continues with flavourful Sixpence, N.Body, and Ruckman's Tupac work ethic as they step up and serve verses that are accompanied with a super catchy hook: "No money in my pocket, I'm just running up the tab, no advice, I just rap on the mic, I'm indebted to this rap sh*t". You'll be singing along to the hook by the end of the track. From there, Mr. Ruckman pivots, giving listeners further access into his personal life on Take Me Back, he focuses on areas of relationships, self-sabotage due to an avoidant attachment style, and a good dose of self-love. In this phase of the album, you're met with gentle beats, emotional exposure, a dope feature from Y.V. and Kwasi, and an upheaval of past energy, which is released into spoken word on Love Is and completed with cut-throat awareness of the bullsh*t Ruckman endured. Prepare for death and rebirth with Track 11, featuring soul-shaking vocals from Hyina Mufasa. Mr. Ruckman details his journey of loss, loneliness, lack of support, regret, and starting over, which led to his current transformation, one we are all extremely lucky to witness! Poet On My Headstone is one frequency that hits hard from the beat drop and first verse! Ruckman's sensational lower register shines as he spits, 'It's typical when people are cynical; they'll be critical of everything you do that they didn't do cause they're miserable." Can we get a mic drop, please?! Ruckman reminds us to focus on the vision and mute the critics. Misery loves company, and entertaining a vibration means entering its frequency. Measure that frequency! Finally, he goes on to drop free game regarding manifestation and the intellectual blueprint. His word play, cadence, and self-awareness reflect on the current state of society as he induces listeners into body positivity and authenticity, here is where we enter a gentle climax, one where past self and present love collide on One More Day, featuring samples and smoothness from Jace XL and Karai. The chapter of Congruence is completed with Rye (Outro). Mr. Ruckman is an artist who gives in lyrical abundance, smooth transitions, and a deep, profound pen game that's all expressed through his burning creativity. He’s one who is immensely needed in this industry, providing artistic balance. Don't fall behind with listening to Congruence; set aside time to digest the storyline and allow yourself to align once Mr. Ruckman kicks in. Keep killing 'em, Ruck! Alabama, USASwigg is on King sh*t, spitting real sh*t while delivering an easily digestible flow and profound message on Knowledge is King from his 16-track album, What I Do. If it's pressure you're looking for, Swigg is applying it by positively influencing listeners to think about what kind of legacy they'll leave behind—what'll remain on the family tree, and what was? Will it be kings and queens? Elevated mentalities rather than surface insanities? Whatever the choice, one thing is for sure: Swigg's deep pen game is exposed through this thought-provoking track. Knowledge is King is a refreshing addition to your rotation, breaking up any surface lyrics and empty beats that dominate the airwaves. Swigg stands out as a beacon of substance and authenticity. Considering knowledge is, in fact, king, Swigg quite literally drops historical gems of knowledge over the Juno-produced beat. "Knowledge is King was inspired by what I was researching at the time. I’m a big seeker of the truth and things unknown, so when I heard the track It automatically spoke of enlightenment. This creation was really an observation of thoughts". - Swigg From the very first bars, the song commands attention with its introspection and perspective. Keeping an open mind will allow one to clearly hear the message: peace and family are all that you need! The beat is a fusion of smooth jazz-inspired instrumentation and a head-nodding, boom-bap rhythm, creating an engaging backdrop that complements the lyrical content perfectly. Swigg possesses the rare ability to convey complex ideas with simplicity, making the song accessible to a wide range of listeners. Add in the sampled track switch halfway through, and you have permission to vibe all the way out. Since Knowledge is King has dropped, Swigg has an array of releases ready for you to indulge in, including Ramen Noodle Weekend, Creme De La Creme 3, and The Bae Tape. His apparel line is available on ETSY under the name ‘The Swigg Brand’, and unfortunately he has yet to announce any upcoming live shows, so stay tuned. Melbourne, AustraliaHauntingly Familiar won't let you down, with this magnetic track right here being one hell of a breakdown by duo Lunacy. Power couple Sallee Chatfield and Oliver Kindred (Ollie) enter your psyche with a wickedly composed instrumental and a seraphically vocal delivery. This dark tune explodes into a haunting and emotionally charged journey with melancholic melodies and reflective lyrics. Hauntingly Familiar highlights the essence of inner turmoil and mental and emotional turbulence. Just as the piano keys reach a climax, the chorus kicks in with crashing rock-pop elements, and Sallee’s stunning combination of chest and head vocals smoothly transitions between lower and higher registers. Her voice is simultaneously fragile and powerful! Lunacy releases a vault of pent-up emotions on Hauntingly Familiar, allowing a deep resonance for individuals who've experienced complete internal overload from life's trials, tribulations, and just plain old bullsh*t. "The writing process was a deeply introspective and cathartic journey for us. We were inspired by our own experiences during the COVID-19 lockdowns, where feelings of isolation, confusion, and fear of this 'new normal' weighed heavily on our minds. We explored the mental turmoil and desperation we felt. Ollie used to DJ at 'emo night' type clubs and EDM clubs, and we really wanted to experiment with those sounds. It's a reflection of our collective struggles and a reminder that we're not alone in these hauntingly familiar emotions." - Lunacy Oliver worked his magic on the composed elements of the track, and Ionei Heckenberg produced the brooding beat. Ethereal synths echo and subtle electronic pop beats ring throughout the arrangement, adding to the overall atmosphere. Hauntingly Familiar is a sonic landscape that mirrors the emotional landscape of the lyrics. "When I started DJing EDM, I would go out of my way to find remixes of emo songs that I grew up listening to. I thought it would be cool if we made an original song that had the same energy as a remix of an emo song without it sounding exactly like a remix that's exclusively played at dance clubs. We still wanted the song to stand on its own. I drew inspiration from Duane Bartolo, Haber, and Nikelondon; I was also lucky enough to share the stage with them a few years ago." - Oliver Kindred Embodying evocative dark pop, this track demonstrates Lunacy’s brilliant talent for emotional expression, exploring their own inner demons and finding a sense of solidarity in the shared experience of struggle and healing. Lunacy are hard at work in the studio, crafting more dark-pop gems for their upcoming EP! Until then, enjoy their current releases, such as Sad B!tch, The Hardest Thing, and, of course, the star of the show, Hauntingly Familiar (link available below). |
