No Go is a mix reminiscent of multiple influences in rap, hip-hop, and trap; the tempo and ad-libs are on Migos, the verse structure is on Drake, and ALPY then combines all the elements together with a melodic tone and pun-full flow. He makes a statement and sticks to it through his lyrical delivery; in a nutshell, if it goes against ALPY’s code, that’s a No Go.  

“I just finished doing a show with two other artists that I work really closely with, JDro and Mirna. The energy was crazy; we had friends come through to show support, and that was a pivotal moment. The confidence was high on the stage that night. Personally speaking, I'm usually a nervous wreck before jumping on, but the vibe was different that evening. After leaving the venue, I felt motivated to write something and used the night's energy to create No Go.” - ALPY
