Jaron Jay has lit a match and watched everything go up in flames while hitting high notes and holding the lows on his newly released single, Rolling On Fire. Jaron Jay doesn't bring the vibe; he IS the vibe in Rolling On Fire, unveiling an abundant audible package that isn't for the faint-hearted. He delivers brilliant storytelling, intensely bright vocals, and a whole freaking band production. Oh, and if you're wondering who produced it, Yep, the man himself: Jaron Jay. Rolling On Fire is a "kiss my ass, I'm celebrating, after this heartbreak" energy, but not before he mentions the demon children who led him to his demise. "Rolling On Fire’ was penned as an ode to a former partner who’d broken up with me via a long-distance phone call while I was away in Europe on tour (yeah, it’s a breakup song). I wrote it shortly after what was a catastrophic time, and it provided me with a little bit of catharsis. There actually wasn’t a whole load of thought put into it, and lyrically, it was a stream-of-consciousness type of writing situation, where the words fell out of my brain, and then the production followed. There’s nothing that I want anybody to take from it. I’m sure some people can identify with the lyrics, or maybe they can't—maybe they want to dance to it, or maybe they want to belt the chorus with me! It’s all good." - Jaron Jay. The track provides slightly zen hues after the upbeat tornado. It's a rare duality. Working alongside L.A.-based record label Antihero, Jaron Jay will be presenting his EP, potentially performing live (in L.A.), and creating more for his fans' eyes and ears in the coming months.
